Galactic Warfare 1/4/2010
Welcome Back! We hope you all had a good break. We just added Galactic Warfare, which is a Star Wars mod for COD4. Try it out! There is a dedicated server running if you look for LAN servers.

Call of Duty Tournament Info 11/26/2009

The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare tournament is this Friday! It will work essentially the same way as the Starcraft tournament - here are the details. DATE: Nov 27th, 2009 (This coming Friday) TIME: 8 PM - 11:30 PM COST: $20 RULES: Players will be ranked based on overall performance on a number of free for all and team deathmatch (random teams) maps. PRIZES: 1st Place: Your choice of a $100 Elan Games gift certificate or $50 gift certificate for any other local business of your choice. 2nd Place: Free all-nighter for you and a guest 3rd Place: Free day pass Note: Due to the lack of dedicated server support for Modern Warfare 2, we are using COD 4 (Modern Warfare 1) for the tournament. We are already HALF FULL. Come in and reserve your spot now to make sure you don't miss out!

Monthly News Letter and Free Time! 8/27/2008

Want to stay informed of what's going on at your favorite lan centre? Want to get free time? Who doesn't... As a reward for you allowing us to send you a monthly news letter and keeping a valid email address with us, we will be giving a free hour away monthly to everyone who is an active member by logging into our system for at least an hour the month prior. Simple; be an active member, have a valid email address, get free time, and stay informed of what's happening at your local centre. You can change your email in the software or ask a staffie to update it if necessary. If you don't wish to receive monthly letters from us you can simply respond to the email with "Remove" in the subject area, or simply type Refused in the email section of your profile in the software. That way we won't bother you anymore by asking you if you wish to get the letter. This news letter is currently only going out at the Lansdowne location but will be available at all ELAN centres very soon. Logging out Properly 09/07/2007

Recently we have had issues with members coming in and finding that the time in thier accounts don't match what they left with the prior day. If you do not click on the logout button you are not logged out and your time will count down on you. Your system should fully restart once you click the logout button. Do not leave the store without clicking the logout button or getting a staff member to check that you are logged out. ELAN GAMES is not responsible for lost time due to not logging out. If your system crashes you must re-boot and log back in... To log out properly. The only other way you can loose time is if someone knows your username & password and steals your time on you. If you even suspect that someone else knows your password, CHANGE IT. Again we are not responsible for time lost in this regard. LOG OUT PROPERLY... SAVE YOUR TIME!! Ghost

Refer A Friend Policy 09/07/2007
When you refer a new member to ELAN GAMES you will get a 4 hour flag instead of playing for free as long as they stay. The up side is that if they only stay for one hour you can still game for your entire 4 hour period. You can still earn a gold membership for one year by refering 5 new members.
